     Greeks wore leather sandals when they weren't walking around barefoot.

     Ancient Greek footwear was flat-soled with varying types of strap fastenings.

     Fibulae is a pin or brooch used to fasten fabric at the shoulder of chitons of ancient Greece and Rome. They were often of decorative design. Some are obvious precursors to the safety pins of today.

     Greek jewlery is stunningly beautiful. It is characterized by the abundant use of repusse, engraving, inlay, and gilding, and it is associated with semiprecious stones and glazed terracotta.
