The success of this skirt depends
of the fabric used. This skirt must be made of heavy fabrics that
follow closely the shape of the wearer. At the same time, the fabric
must be light enough not to add unflattering volume. The slightly
flared skirt has a high waistline and is gathered below knees to
form gentle folds.
The hood is tied to the skirt
with golden-yellow silk ribbons and a broche covered in the same
fabric as the ribbons.
Gouache painting.
