This collection is inspired
by traditional Tibetan monk costume.
Gelong or fully ordained
Buddhist monk wears simple clothes made of pieced woolen cloth so
that the wearer may not develop attachment to his garments.
The Gelong
costume is composed of Shamthab, or lower robe, Chogeu,
the yellow shawl, which is worn over the red shawl or Zen.
Monk clothes have warm, natural colors: browns, reds, yellows. The
yellow
fringed hat is worn only on formal occasions.
