This collection is inspired
by the costumes worn by the Praetorian Guard founded by Augustus
as a personal bodyguard.
The Praetorians wore special uniforms,
received more pay than the legionnaires, and they were the only
troops stationed in Italy.
Their influence brought several
emperors to power.
Famous pieces of roman military
uniform are "lorica segmentata", a leather breastplate
allowing great agility of movement and the helmet with plumed crest.
