Egypt |
This outfit has a masculine,
appearance evoking the strength of the powerful Egyptian queens.
The black velvet shirt with bouffant sleeves tied at intervals with
orange taffeta ribbons creates mass in the upper body, while the
contours of the lower body are emphasized in stretch velvet pants.
Net skirt and sleeves break the masculinity of this outfit.
The breast plate is made of painted
leather. The belt is replaced by a soft tube covered by brown velvet
and orange silk ribbon. A leather strap with orange silk adorns
the delicate line of the neck.
Gouache painting.
